Refund Ignored, Claim Unjustly Denied – Extremely Frustrated
I’ve been trying to obtain a refund for a deposit I paid toward a covered spay surgery. Despite multiple calls and emails, I’ve received no response or reimbursement. The lack of communication from MetLife Pet has been extremely frustrating and unprofessional. On top of that, a separate claim was denied on the grounds of a “preexisting condition,” even though that diagnosis was not present prior to the policy start date. My veterinarian submitted a formal attestation confirming it was not preexisting, but MetLife still upheld the denial after their so-called review process. This experience has been incredibly disappointing. Between the ignored refund and the unfair claims handling, I cannot recommend MetLife Pet to anyone looking for reliable or responsive coverage for their pet.
