I had looked at a few Pet Insurance companies and based on what was offered and friends recommendation I chise Nationwide. I am very impressed with the turnaround time on Claims submitted.

Best Decision for Our Pets
We have Healthy Paws insurance for all four of our pets - two dogs and two cats. Filing a claim is VERY easy (especially if you use the app) and reimbursement for services is very fast. We have had nothing but POSITIVE EXPERIENCES from Healthy Paws for every claim we've submitted. It was clear from the beginning what was covered (and what wasn't). For us, we wanted insurance to cover any major illnesses or extensive ER visits - we knew that checkups, dental cleanings, vaccines and pre-existing conditions would not be covered. If you've ever taken a pet to the ER vet, then you know those bills add up quickly! I can't say enough good things about having this insurance for our animals! It allows us to make medical decisions for our pets based on what is the right treatment for them, and not based on how much it costs. Our 6 year old dog was diagnosed with a brain tumor last year, and because we had pet insurance, we were able to give her the care she needed to make a full recovery...a year later she is living life like a puppy - full of energy, happy and healthy. Thank you, Healthy Paws, for making it possible for us to give our pets the care they need and deserve. I'm recommending you to all my pet friends.

Easy but takes some time
It's a pretty easy process. Love that I can now file online through the app but it does take some time and the follow up isn't quite there yet but it has gotten better. I'm happy.

Extremely Disappointed
Extremely disappointed with Claims processing because - 1. Of the excuse that Nationwide used to avoid paying a claim 2. Of the lengthy time it took for process some claims 3. Of the lengthy time to receive a settlement check. 2 weeks now.
