The best decision I made for my furbaby to get Nationwide pet insurance. They pay claims quickly and have few items not covered

Turnaround time is not accurate
I was excited about the turn around time for claims. I have yet to see the 3-5 days they claimed. Most are 3-4 weeks out. I will say customer support is very friendly however it is very frustrating to wait 3-4 weeks to turn around a claim.

I think over all for both my pets it has been pretty good experience. A few years back I had to fight with you guys about a claim claiming it was from my dogs allergies which it wasn’t.. it was bacterial infection all said and done.. you covered a portion of the claim. I do like that you cover our annual visits! We will see how the two claims I just submitted goes.

Healthy Paws saved us!
Healthy Paws has wonderful and timely claims processing and customer service. They processed our claim in about one week, and even checked in with us to see how our dog was doing after her surgery, in a very personal and kind email. I can't say how appreciative I am of Healthy Paws's help with paying for our dog's surgery bill. I really have no idea what I would have done without them. I would have been completely drained of my savings, and in debt. When I saw that Healthy Paws had approved the claim and my refund came through, I was really moved to the point of tears at the relief. Healthy Paws really saved me and my dog from an extremely difficult financial situation, and ensured that I can continue to provide my dog with the best possible medical care. Nationwide Insurance gives me peace of mind.
