Best people!!!!
I had to submit a claim which was for putting my dog to sleep because he was ill. I also had to cancel insurance. The representative was friendly and was very sensitive about the situation. I cried in the phone with her and she made me feel at ease. The claim was submitted and within a few days I had an answer and received money back from my claim. When I get another pet I will for sure get trupanion again.

Best Pet Insurance around!
I tell everyone I know about Trupanion pet insurance. I have had this insurance for nine years and my two little dachshunds. They have always paid claims promptly and without question. As a matter fact they have pursued the vets notes in order to pay out my claim. I highly recommend Trupanion to anyone with pets. Best insurance around!

As a new customer
As a new customer, I was disappointed that it took close to a month to have my first claim processed. Because of the pandemic, I understand that things were moving slower. Although, I would’ve appreciated a heads up regarding processing times when I purchased the insurance. After I called a few times, it seemed to help the process move along.

Our dog died during the procedure and you send us a give your best to the pet form letter.
Not impressed with the form letter. Especially considering one of the uncovered costs was to euthanize him on the operating table....
