Our beloved golden retriever Boudreaux has had cancer twice the last two years. Without trupanion we would have been faced with the decision of euthanization. Planes were handled extremely fast and efficiently. We tell all our friends that have pets if they should consider pet insurance and particularly with trupanion.

I very rarely fill out these type of Surveys Reviews.
I very rarely fill out these type of Surveys, Reviews. But Justin was a Phenomenal Representative. He was VERY knowledgeable, really listened to my concerns, was EXTREMELY patient with me, .making sure I understood everything. He really helped me & took away a lot of my anxiety fear, as my Husband had always handled this previously so I had a lot of anxiety. He was very reassuring & took care of All my issues ..the ones he couldn't he assured me he would pass on to his Supervisor or the Dept that handled the Matter & promised he or his Supervisor would get back to me. He caring & compassion were evident & I his obvious knowledge gave me Confidence in him. I felt reassured. I wish more of your representatives were like Justin!! As I said, it is very Rare I take out the time to do Surveys, Reviews BUT JUST WAS SO HELPFUL & SO PATIENT!! ***On another note: I am VERY DISAPPOINTED in TRUPANION & find you look for every way NOT to pay me!! YOUR FEES GO UP EVERY YEAR & are WAY ABOVE OTHER INSURANCE COMPANIES, who my Friends do Not have to ARGUE WITH to get paid what is FAIR!! My babies Veterinarian had highly recommended you when I first got Bradley a little over 9 years ago, which is why I used you. Bradley & Marty's Veterinarian NO LONGER RECOMMENDS YOU!! I had both my Babies teeth done approx 3/17 & DESPITE Bradley & Marty's Veterinarian telling you exactly what went on you still REFUSED TO PAY 90% claiming when Marty had approx 17 teeth Pulled that a large portion was teeth cleaning therefore Preventative. Bradley & Marty!s Veterinarian had to argue for Bradley too at the same time 3/17...This was all after sending in High & Low Estimates...Both Bradley & Marty's Dr. (a Partner of a VERY Prestigious, Well known, Highly regarded VETERINARIAN HOSPITAL) & I were DISGUSTED/OUTRAGED. with the way my Claims were handled. YOU WERE VERY UNFAIR! Bradley & Marty's Veterinarian was NOT HAPPY. He spent HOURS on the Phone with you Explaining everything, to NO AVAIL & I heard other Clients of theirs had Similiar Negative experiences which is why Bradley & Marty's Veterinarian, His Partner, Dr's & Staff NO LONGER RECOMMEND YOU! I also know tgat other Pet Insurances give much Higher Discounts for SERVICE DOGS!) I am very disappointed to receive such a low Discount. Bradley & Marty are Both ADA REGISTERED SERVICE DOGS) Unfortunately bec Of Pre-existing Conditions & their age I am STUCK but I DO TELL ANYONE I KNOW NOT TO USE YOU!! (You can look up my horrible experience with you 3/2017 with Both Bradley & Marty.Weinstein.) Just an FYI..I belong to both Cavalier King Charles groups & Havanese Groups on FACEBOOK & people are Constantly asking What Pet Insurances people Recommend. I am NOT the only one who Advises people against using Trupanion!! Many other Clients of yours tell there clients NOT to use TRUPANION! Unfortunately I am stuck because of their age BUT I would NEVER RECOMMEND YOU & NEVER USE YOU AGAIN MYSELF!! I am NOT alone!! SAD BUT TRUE! ***Also as I said above Justin was wonderful but I have NOT have NOT had that experience with most of your Reps. Both Representatives & Supervisor's have been uncaring, Nasty, just wanting to get off the Phone, NOT CARING & NOT The least Helpful! Justin should be the way all of your Representatives & Supervisor's are NOT THE RARE EXCEPTION. I think a lot of both your Supervisors & Representative gave A LOT TO LEARN FROM JUSTIN! I wish he could be my Personal Representative when dealing with Trupanion. He was beyond helpful knowledgeable & caring! Very Truly Yours, Deborah S Weinstein.
