Best Choice in Insurance!
FIGO has been amazing and so supportive of my one year old Labradoodle! He is quite the rascal and have caused many unexpected trips to the vet. Filing a claim has never been easier or quicker! I have also chatted with a Vet through the app and it has been incredibly helpful! Best choice I could have made when I got a puppy!

Prompt Reimbursements
Nationwide is great at processing my claims and reimbursing me in a quick and efficient manner. I am very thankful that I have the insurance to help me care for my boy. My only complaint with Nationwide is the rate of annual increases . . . I'm afraid at some point (probably the next increase) they'll price me right out of being able to afford it, now that my boy is 11 years old.

Love being able to submit claims from my smartphone
Very easy to submit claims through app. Feel that coverage is great except if you end up using emergency vet services after normal visit hours. (kind of similar to human insurance) Otherwise I have been pleasantly surprised how much reimbursement I have received.

I was upset how some claims were handled.
Murphy had a cough the day before her insurance started. We later found out she hand just had something in her throat. Later that summer she got a sinus infection and Nationwide wouldn't cover it because she was labeled with a pre-existing conditioning. I don't understand how a sinus infection is the same as a cough that turned out not to be an issue, and it made me question the need for coverage.

Really bad experience
we recently moved to the US from another country. Took out cat insurance for our cat - took one of the most expensive policies so the only thing that wouldn’t be covered were pre-existing conditions and routine checks. Our claim was denied because “Additional information was required to process this claim. After numerous requests, we were unable to obtain records from your veterinarian. Your claim can be reviewed upon resubmission of the claim with required medical records.” My issue with this is that we were not once contacted by Petsbest. I reached out to them on a chat since it took a long time for my claim to be processed. They said they needed my to send as much information about my cat’s medical history (which was in another country up til now) so I did and sent them everything immediately via email. I never got a reply and asked them for an update a couple of weeks later and they said they were sorry for the delay and will get back to me ASAP - which they didnt, I just got this denial. What is really wrong is that they send the denial THE DAY AFTER they took my payment for the next month, which seems really wrong. I also feel that they should not trick people into buying insurance and AFTER paying for several months telling them it could be an option that they cannot insure their pet. This should be checked or confirmed before having people pay. So I have not ONCE been contacted by Petsbest but they do denial my claim because they tried contacting us numerous times? It is impossible that they tried to reach our vet since they do not have her contact info. Communication is REALLY bad here and I would advise anyone to look elsewhere for pet insurance. EDIT: Reply to Petsbest reply: We were not once contacted by Petsbest so I do not know how they can state "we request". I reached out to them on multiple occasions myself since it took them a long time to process my claim. During a chat I explained them that I would send them all information that I have, which I did. After that I sent a follow up email and they said they were working on my claim. Not ONCE have they requested more information or did they even request contact info for our previous vet. They are a lazy company and they do not communicate with their customers ... They prefer to leave the customer hanging for +- 2 months and then, without any sort of communication or cooperation from their side, deny the claim.

Fast, easy claims and the check was in the mail in no time!
Our little pitbull have had surgery on a couple of different occasions. The claims was super easy, the folks at Healthypaws responded to my claims immediately and the check was in the mail in no time at all. They were kind enough to email me to check in to see how my little girl was doing. So glad I have Healthy Paws!!!!
