Said my claim was preexisting even…
Said my claim was preexisting even though it was diagnosed about 4 weeks before we had the surgery. I had coverage for over 6 months. I called and they reopened and and approved it. However, they still didn't approve everything and the invoice amount dropped from the original. Felt like they purposely denied it to see if I would even call and now they still paid less making me have to call again.

Grateful for the quick turnaround time for refunds. Although, I thought we would’ve received a greater amount of refund given the amount we pay monthly. For example—We pay $120/month for our Bernese Mountain dog. For every $250 vet bill we only receive about $100 back. It’s almost not worth the coverage. We like to have pet insurance for the peace of mind.

We had an emergency vet visit and the only pet insurance they were willing to work with is Trupanion. We were kept apprised of our insurance situation throughout the process. The authorization happened quickly and without having to fight for the coverage.

Our little baby girl was diagnosed with a heart a heart condition. Trupanion has made a stressful situation much easier. Making a claim is easy and they process the claims very quickly. They have done exactly what they promised when we signed up with them 4 years ago. Definitely worth it and we are so glad that we have them. Thank you Trupanion and Our baby kitty thanks you!
