Quick Claim Turn Around

Unfortunately we've been to the vet a handful of times for our little dog lately. She was perfectly well at her wellness exam and 2 days later was back in for an awful cough. We are pretty sure she picked it up at the vet. They're trying different things, but so far no improvement. Nationwide has been so quick to respond to claims. Within a few days we have our return which makes it so easy when vet Bill's start to pile up. I'm so thankful we have coverage for our little JoJo. Just goes to show, something as small as a little cough can be very costly. Hope we never have anything serious.

A stressful situation made easier by Healthy Paws

My sweet goldendoodle Ollie suffered bloat. His stomach filled up with air and started to twist. We were fortunate to know the signs of bloat and he was able to get the ER vet within minutes of symptoms starting. He had a successful surgery and is going to make a full recovery. It was emotionally and financially rolling. When I called Healthy Paws to discuss what was going on, they couldn’t have been nicer. They reached out to the veterinary clinic and worked directly with them on getting invoices and updates. This is not customarily how the claim process works as you’re supposed to submit yourself. However, they knew how stressed I was and wanted to take the burden off of me. Our claimed was processed very quickly and had a received our reimbursement a few days after. They continued to reach out checking on Ollie. The personal attention made this situation much easier. I highly recommend Healthy Paws.

Fairly simple to submit and quick response

The form is a little cumbersome to complete and can't imagine for someone less computer savvy that it's simple but I am able to submit online and the response and direct deposit is great!

Huge Help!

We couldn't get through some of these initial vet visits without Nationwide. When Alister got sick, we knew we could count on Nationwide to help us out with the costs of his medication to ensure he got back to health quickly. We are so happy we went with Nationwide as the reimbursement was so quick and easy, we never had to follow up! It really puts us at ease - thank you Nationwide!

Customer service

I signed up with HealthyPaws when my boy Flynn came into the family in 2017. I have been so glad to have HealthyPaws this year in particular. We've had some health issues with Flynn this year. It is so easy to submit claims to HealthyPaws, see why I did or didn't get reimbursed for certain things, and the customer service is superb. Today was the first time I called the customer service line. I emailed first, but then called because I wanted a quick answer (I'm not very patient), although I knew they would get back to me by the end of the day via email. I got lucky to hear from MARY at HealthyPaws. To say she was a pleasure to talk with is an understatement. From the start you know she's an animal lover herself. She started off the call with such enthusiasm. I wasn't doing too great as I am dealing with my dog recently being diagnosed with Lyme Disease, but Mary easily cheered me up. As we went over my plan and info, she noticed that Flynn had almost met his deductible for the year. She then asked about him and his health. Then asked how I was doing, which was so sweet. I love this company. It has given me such a sense of ease knowing that they have my dog's best interest at heart. I love HealthyPaws!! Thank you Mary and thank you HealthyPaws.
