It is getting increasingly expensive and as my cat Nutmeg is relatively young I wonder if insurance is necessary.
It is getting increasingly expensive and as my cat, Nutmeg, is relatively young I wonder if insurance is necessary. She is an indoor cat and therefore does not come in contact with dangers or harmful bacteria/viruses. So many routine costs are not covered given the amount I am paying. However, I have faced the situation where having insurance probably was a break even experience on a number of occasions. Kidney failure in a young cat, as well in an elderly cat and when my dear dog, Gabby, developed a tumour on her brain. So I keep on paying and hope that I really do not have to make use of it but it is there if I need it.

Well you all didn't include other expenses that have been sent and associated with my dogs surgery therefore I didn't meet the deductible.

Pleased
I have to admit, I wasn't sure if I was going to keep the pet insurance or not. However, after one of my dogs ended up needing surgery, I was very pleased with the ease of filing a claim and the amount that was covered under the insurance. Due to that, I am definitely keeping the insurance.
