Walley's Congestive Heart Failure
When It comes to the drugs needed for Walley's heart I am so happy I have paid for the insurance all these years. However I was disappointed to find the insurance did not cover my having to take Walley in, after him being on the meds for 6 mths, to ensure the meds were being effective. That visit was not diagnostic, anymore than a follow-up visit after surgery would be. Other than that, I appreciate the speed in which you process a claim & the very pleasant staff when I have called with questions.

I was shocked to see my monthly fees go up over 20% after the first year and feel a bit like I've been scammed.
I was shocked to see my monthly fees go up over 20% after the first year and feel a bit like I've been scammed. I'm hugely disappointed and plan to discuss it with my vet and other dog owners to see if there is a better option.

Since this is my first experience going down the Pet Insurance Highway, my experience's with AKC have been positive. Claims have been paid as per my declarations page, My pet is close to 13 months of age, I have had AKC since 2/19 have had numerous claims and have been pleased with the reimbursement. The insurance has been a huge help in managing my pets health. My current pet is a mixed breed, profile pic is my pet that passed.
