At first I was very confused at how the insurance worked.
At first I was very confused at how the insurance worked. I have never made a claim and I have had the pet insurance for 3 years. My vet (Brian Melius at Met. Small Animal) explained it to me that I could claim my most recent vet visit. Charlie was experiencing some GI issues. I immediately called and spoke to a Trupanion rep. and they were extremely helpful. I will be submitting my claims from now on. Thank You!

I insured my best friend with Healthy Paws when he was about 12 months old and I did never have a health issue. Unfortunately My best friend had to go thru surgery in the middle of COVID-19 pandemic, worst moment for this to happen with all the craziness and all of us being impacted financially. FORTUNATELY, he was insured and to my surprise the process of the claim with Healthy Paws was very smooth and transparent. This is something you should always look for an insurance company. Great Insurance
My cat recently had emergency surgery after he ingested hair ties that caused a GI obstruction. I was worried that submitting my first claim could come with red tape and delays, however the process was completely painless! Once they confirmed they claim had been reviewed and completed the reimbursement was in my bank account within two days. They also sent a follow-up email making sure my cat had recovered and if there was anything else they could assist with.
