Fast processing, Easy of Filing Claim
We filed a claim for our Ginger after emergency surgery. Online filing of the claim was easy. Trupanion collected previous vet information for processing of the claim to determine what was pre-existing and what was not. Claim payment was fast.

They will reject every claim - save your money
They rejected every single claim I made saying that my dog as a pre-existing condition of allergies, which is not true. The appeals process was essentially them listening to me say why my dog does not have allergies and why the claims should be covered, and them saying too bad, nothing changes.

MY DOG'S HEALTH ISSUES ARE MUCH LESS FRIGHTENING ON SO MANY LEVELS BECAUSE OF TRUPANION'S COVERAGE.
MY RESCUE IS 11 AND 1/2 YEARS OLD AND HAS CUSHING'S DISEASE. SHE ALSO HAS CURRENTLY A SKIN WOUND? LESION? THAT WON'T HEAL AND WE ARE ATTEMPTING TO DETERMINE ITS CAUSE AND TREAT IT. I HAVE HAD RAVEN INSURED WITH TRUPANION (RECOMMENDED BY MY VET) SINCE I GOT HER. NOW WHEN SHE IS OLDER AND BEGINNING TO HAVE PROBLEMS I AM SO GRATEFUL THAT I DID. TRUPANION COMPLETES HER CLAIMS IN RECORD TIME AND COVERS SO MUCH OF HER EXPENSES. I AM SO GRATEFUL.

Meningitis is a costly illness
Our four year old golden retriever developed frightening body tremors last week. On the advice of our local veterinarian, we rushed him to a veterinary neurologist, suspecting poisoning or meningitis. It turned out to be meningitis. :-( Our poor pup was in doggy ICU and tended to around the clock until the doctors were sure he was going to pull through. Not once did we question whether or not we could afford his care, knowing we had him insured through Healthy Paws Pet Insurance. Having the comfort of being able to make the very best decisions concerning our pet's care is of utmost importance. We submitted our claim, and within one week received approval for reimbursement. I consider that excellent service. I don't hesitate to recommend Healthy Paws Pet Insurance to anyone wanting excellent protection for their fur buddies.
