I would not be able to keep my dog if I didn't have Trupanion coverage.
I would not be able to keep my dog if I didn't have Trupanion coverage. She's a young dog who has had recurring mast cell tumors and epilepsy that's difficult to treat. Her anticonvulsant medications alone cost in the neighborhood of $6000 a year. Trupanion pays for 90% of her medicine. I'm pleased with the efficiency of the online system for submitting invoices. I urge my friends thinking about getting a dog to consider Trupanion insurance.

I was very disappointed for the first time.
I was very disappointed for the first time. I should have been given a number to call for the poison control in my area that does not charge me who is connected with Trupanion. I was basically told to get on the computer and look them up. If your pet swallows something, you're naturally in a state of panic. My vet's office gave me a number that charged. Though I got the answer & instruction what to do from poison control I'm beyond upset with Trupanion. I got charged $69.
