Claimed ear infection was pre existing condition because it was allergy caused but they were only treating him for that in hopes that what it was.

Denied pre authorization for MRI then called back the next day saying you would cover it. By that time an immediate mri appointment wasn’t available & I had already started hospice care to say final goodbye.

Had to appeal two claims determined to be ineligible for ridiculous reasons. Coverage was eventually applied and payment issues 45 days later. A very frustrating experience.

I appreciate speaking with a local, friendly and knowledgeable person. When I called - Kathleen was all of those things. She was very informative and helpful answering my questions. Trupanion insurance is more than just pet insurance- I always feel like they take care of my 'kids' and are there for me and for them whether it is just a question or a health issue.
