It is easy to work with Trupanion!
It is easy to work with Trupanion!! My vet sends my Bill's directly to Trupanion and within just a few days Trupanions portion is deposited directly into my bank account ?? no extra work on my part. The couple of times I did have a question it was easy to reach and speak to a representative and my questions were answered quickly. Everyone I have talk to was very professional and caring ?? I highly recommend Trupanion to any pet owner

I was pretty surprised to find out that in an emergency situation Trupanion will not cover the emergency examination fees necessary to determine what tests and interventions/treatments need to be performed on an animal.
I was pretty surprised to find out that in an emergency situation, Trupanion will not cover the emergency examination fees necessary to determine what tests and interventions/treatments need to be performed on an animal. As a person in (human) healthcare, I find this absolutely mind-boggling. Time to cancel our policy and save our monthly payment independently in the case of an emergency!

I felt like some of the answers to my questions weren't very clear and almost seemed scripted.
I felt like some of the answers to my questions weren't very clear and almost seemed scripted. He was helpful with some information but not straightforward with me. I'm thinking of considering Trupanion since if hasn't been very helpful and I continue to pay out of pocket for my pets expenses. So far I've gotten no real benefit and I'm paying insurance for nothing. They say they go off of symptoms not diagnosis so I just see the company trying to justify every time why they can't process a claim. For that I might well pay out of pocket if an actual emergency occurs or look for a better health insurance company. I would not recommend Trupanion to a friend or family member.
