Thank you Healthy Pets
Although we had never had pet insurance for our previous pets, we decided to look into it when we adopted our black lab mix, Reggie. He was three when we got him and we had no information about his prior medical history. So we went online to check out the "ten best" pet insurance companies. We decided on Healthy Paws based on their coverage, their rates, their reputation and their non-profit foundation that helps homeless pets. And we are so glad we did! It's incredibly easy to submit claims online and reimbursements are paid directly to my bank, usually within a few days of submitting my claim. The coverage we receive from Healthy Paws has enabled us to provide the very best care possible for Reggie. And they seem to really care about him too; they periodically send emails asking how he's doing. We have nothing but high praise for Healthy Paws and recommend them without reservation to anyone considering insurance for their pet!

I am currently a customer of Trupanion…
I am currently a customer of Trupanion and I pay approximately 90$ a month to have my 7 year old dog insured. I have had her insured since she was a puppy. So I have paid them approximately 7500$ up to date. I haven't had a great experience with this company as you only get any value from this insurance on MAJOR claims. There are a ton of ways they can get out of paying for any claim you attempt to submit. Example being Bee sting dog puking larthagic = emergency Vetranary VisitIf, sorry not covered. Teeth falling out need to be pulled - sorry not covered. If you can manage to just put 100$/month away with strict discipline you'd be better off. Wouldn't be surprised for them to cancel my insurance since I'm leaving this review. Goodluck!

My little dog digested a foreign object and after survey to try to safe her she died. When I contacted Trupanion they handle everything. I just sent the bill receipts. I was totally distraught and the way I was treated by one of Trupanion's representative was with compassion and genuine care and sorrow for my loss. She looked after everything and I was kept informed on the progress of my claim and I was immediately sent a cheque based on my plan. Thank you for the professional way this was handled at a very sad time in my life.
