I switched coverage for my 1year old dog (Dog A) because I adopted a puppy (Dog B) who came with a 30 day trial.
I switched coverage for my 1year old dog (Dog A) because I adopted a puppy (Dog B) who came with a 30 day trial. Before switching I asked about his (Dog A) allergy shots, and was told they would be covered. Then, while filling out the questionnaire for Dog A - it did not ask about any pre-existing conditions. Now, I have found that Trupanion will not cover allergy shots AND anything that presents like allergies - like an ear infection, even though Dog A never had allergies present with anything re: his ears.

Great service. Bad at communication.
The customer service with Trupanion is always great. Unfortunately there was a mix up with the claims and it was very difficult getting it sorted between hospital and Trupanion. Would have liked things to be simpler/easier/more efficient next time. Less hassle and less back and forth.

It's quite good just sometimes the coverage is not the best which fluctuates the deductible part is always confusing.
