My beautiful rescue dog Finley, ended up with huge problems with his back legs. He had to have a total of four surgeries, two on each leg to repair the damage. Trupanion was absolutely incredible, when I was looking for help or advice every single person I spoke with on the phone was kind and considerate and extremely helpful. The reimbursements came in very promptly and I think God for Trupanion because the surgery was so expensive, And I don’t know what I would’ve done. Thank you Trupanion! You let me have my sweet dog happy and healthy! Thank you with all my heart♥️

Not worth it
Pets Best used to be a great insurer. They were so quick at processing claims and the customer service was exceptional - you could always get an answer within the same day, often the same hour (via phone, email, or chat). However, last year things started to get bad. Claims are still very easy to submit! But, my rates jump considerably every year, and claims processing now take over a month. At first, they blamed it on COVID-19, but now that is just how long it takes. I have had claims denied and they will not respond to my attempts to understand why. In fact, the only way to get ahold of them is to call an 877 number and sit on hold for hours, or to submit a response to their chat operator (which never operates) and to never receive a response. I would cancel my policy today but I am still waiting for them to process a claim I submitted weeks ago which I do not want to jeopardize. I would not recommend Pets Best to any pet owner. You will pay much too much for far too little.

Best Coverage hands down...Thank You Healthy Paws
Thank you Healthy Paws for your outstanding coverage. My dog Snickers was struck by a car and needed several surgeries. Healthy Paws did exactly what they say they would. Covered everything they said they would. After thousands and thousands in bills, Healthy Paws was there when we needed them the most. Can't thank you enough....Snicker's is healthy and doing great!!

Much longer than advertised to process claim
It is taking much longer than advertised to process my claim. When I called customer service, they offered several excuses for the delay until they accepted they were backed up on processing, but didn't offer any additional help on my specific claim. My claim has been opened for 13 days now.

Excellent choice for pet insurance
Our experience with Pet's Best has been great so far. We had a labrador retriever for 13 years who had many health challenges and became quite expensive. We swore if we ever got another dog, we would get pet insurance from day one. So, this past January, when we got a puppy (right before COVID hit) we researched for pet insurance and I found Pet's Best. Our vet had provided us with a few other companies, but their plans didn't have as good as coverage. We decided to sign up for the BestBenefit plan and it was the best decision we could have made. When our pup was just four months old, we learned that developed elbow dysplasia, which is a genetic disorder similar to arthritis in humans. She had to undergo double elbow surgery, which cost us over $3500. We had only been with Pets Best for several months, and even though our plan covered this genetic disorder, I thought for sure they would find a way and not pay us the 90%. They originally denied the claim, and when I called them to discuss it, I learned that they simply needed additional documentation, which I promptly sent. Two weeks later, I received the reimbursement check for the full 90%. Although calling and talking to someone can take upwards of 20-30 minutes, it was worth the wait for me to speak to a representative to know what was going on. Like many insurance companies, you need to stay on top of your claims, and be sure to reach out if you have concerns. When I did speak with the woman at Pets Best, she was very helpful and gave me the appropriate information to see my claim was reimbursed. Although this is our first experience using pet insurance, we are very happy to have chosen Pets Best and I would recommend them to anyone who is contemplating insuring their fur babies.

Peace of mind!
Best decision ever! I did not anticipate having a two year old Ragdoll in the hospital for a week but was comforted knowing 90% of the costs would be covered by Healthy Paws. I uploaded his invoice and just a few days later had confirmation they were covering and then a direct deposit was made within 24 hours. Our precious Baxter is on the mend and I’m beyond grateful to Healthy Paws for their outstanding commitment to customer service and prompt payment. I highly recommend and have nothing negative to say whatsoever.

Great Insurance
Healthy Paws is great and not too expensive. My husky is a typical husky, gets into everything and is very accident prone. They have given us no issues with the amount of claims we've had to file. Their claim filing procedure is extremely easy and you get your payment in approximately 10 days!

There when you need it.
Bodhi, our 8 year old toy poodle, has been insured with healthy paws since he was 6 months old. A year ago we got the devastating news that Bodhi had developed Diabetes, and would most likely need cataract surgery. In the year since his diagnosis, he has had a number of veterinary tests, as well as cataract surgery in both eyes. Healthy Paws has been fantastic in helping to pay for these procedures - and was very communicative throughout. A common complaint is the fact that premiums increase every year (ours have doubled in the 8 years since we took the insurance out) - but to us it's completely worth it since they have been so good at paying for Bodhi's health . We wholeheartedly recommend Healthy Paws - like all insurance - you hope you never have to claim - but it is nice knowing they will come through for you when you need it.

I Love Figo Pet Insurance!
I haven't filed a claim since January, but so far I've been very pleased with Figo Pet Insurance. They have always been timely with my claims and if I have any questions they are quick to respond. The price is pretty good for all that you get, too. I'm overall very pleased and satisfied with the service I'm receiving. Keep up the good work, guys!
