BEST PET INSURANCE EVER ,HEALTHY PAWS SAVED MY BABIES LIFE
hi π I'm maya's mom,she's my beautiful baby of 11y.o (German shepherd) she's been with me through thick and thing , 3 months ago she started having blood inside her and that cut me by surprise, because she's been a healthy baby πΆ so first we took her to emergency care and they thought it was gonna go away in 2 weeks , wrong , the blood never went away , so we took her to our regular vet and as soon as he saw her , he told me ,you have to take care to the eye specialist π my heart stopped, we went and she told me that maya had lost her vision on her left and she didnt know why, they did all the test that they're supposed to do , but didn't find any answers,so I asked her if it wasn't painful if she can keep her eye ,and she said for now is not but it'll be,she was right, after 4 weeks maya woke up at 3 am with the eye swollen and I can tell she was in pain , so we went back ready to make the decision to take her eye out and it was heartbreaking π to think that my baby had to go through that, but it was for the best , she was ready to have the surgery and the eye care called π they've said that maya was having an arrhythmia with the pre anesthesia, we took her to the emergency cardiologist and i thought the worst, thankfully she was ok and did a lot test just to make sure she was gonna be ok the next time we try to do the surgery,not only we were dealing with the pain of my baby losing an eye not knowing why, and possibly having a tumor inside her eye , but the financial worry was killing us, I called healthy paws to make sure everything was gonna be covered and they've said of course , to not worry about the money and to try to give my baby maya the best care that we could, so she went for surgery 2 weeks ago , everything went ok this time , and they send the eye to pathology and yes , it was ablittle tumor stage 1 π² thankfully it didn't spread outside the eye , so shes good no cancer cells, no tumor ππΆ by the end of the day we saved 90% of the whole thing, and if I didn't have healthy paws we weren't be able to pay for this ,I've been with healthy paws for the past 8 years or so , and never disappoint , they have the best costumer service ,fast and friendly, they make you feel like they're family, and worry about you're pet ,they know pets are family ππΆπ now my baby maya is safe and still beautiful ππΆπ and I have a piece of mine that God forbid something happens in the future they will be there again β€ ππΆπ

Super helpful and friendly customer service on the phone when I had questions! But I sure wish the deductible wasn't quite as high per condition/injury. We are having a lot of little $200 incidents for our puppy, but that hopefully will improve as she gets older and the coverage will cover more for us.

We chose Trupanion believing that we did not have to pay anything over our $500 deductible to our veterinary clinic and Trupanion and the clinic would handle the balance.
We chose Trupanion believing that we did not have to pay anything over our $500 deductible to our veterinary clinic and Trupanion and the clinic would handle the balance. This was our first claim and now we understand this is not the current process. We recommended Trupanion to our daughter and she signed on for the same reason we did. Disappointing that we had to file our first claim before we knew there had been a change in the process.

I have given the highest score possible because Latonya answered every question I had! As well, while dealing with me, she was patient & pleasant. We do wish Trupanion offered a wee discount for seniors on a fixed income. The monthly fee is hard for us. However, through the years, we have had all our dogs registered with Trupanion & been deeply grateful for their financial support when desperately needed! Thank-you Trupanion!! Hollae

I have never had to use my insurance but it came highly recommended by my best friend who works in a Vet Clinic. Every time I've dealt with the company has been a positive experience. The people that work on the customer support have been polite and friendly.
