Nationwide was there when we needed them.
We had 3 Saint Bernards. Pebbles, Stormy and we recently lost BamBam to Tcell Lymphoma. He had just turned 6 when it was discovered. He was the sweetest boy you could ever imagine. Everyone loved him, he made friends wherever he went. The treatments were expensive and without this insurance we would have lost him a year earlier. Nationwide gave us an entire year with him before his poor body couldn’t take any more chemo treatments. I treasured every minute with him and was glad we could do whatever was needed to keep him with us. This insurance is a piece of mind. They also reimburse you very quickly when you submit the invoices. I am glad we have Nationwide. Stormy just recently got spayed and had a gastroplexy. We paid the deductible and then was reimbursed 90%. Pebbles will be 10 and we have had VPI before it became Nationwide. I have recommended Nationwide to all of my friends.

We are new to the Nationwide Pet Insurance program, but are sold! We have taken our dog to the vet a couple of times and submitted claims for both visits. The ease of filing a claim is amazing and we received our payment within just a few days. We will definitely be renewing our policy.

When my cat became I'll with pancreatitis there were some pretty pricey vet bills from getting him treated. The treatment was successful and kitty feels much better. It was easy to file a claim and receive reimbursement from Nationwide.

Smartest thing I ever did was switching from Banfield. I spent thousands of dollars on my last dog for blood transfusions.
I have piece of mind knowing if anything major happens to Mia. I spent thousands of dollars on my last dog for blood transfusions he couldn't process protein and we fought for 4 years to keep him alive. Mia has been very healthy - although, not too bright - last year at this time, she swallowed stuffing from her toy and had a blockage - it was expensive for the x-rays, sonogram and doctor visits. Nationwide had our backs! Highly recommend.

This has been a difficult time for me finding out that my beloved dog, Charley, has cancer and working to give him the best palliative care possible. Nationwide has helped make it easier financially by reimbursing me quickly for Charley's vet visits, tests, and meds. The vet sends in the claim, and Nationwide processes with no input from me. I know I’ve bought the insurance, but it wonderful to know that when you need it, the company comes through when you need them. I haven’t had to contact Customer Service very often, but when I do, they are friendly, knowledgeable, and helpful.
