Great company, great support, a true pleasure for us to have in our pets life!
I have owned a few dogs over the years and I wasn’t sure about pet insurance and the monthly costs. I now am fully convinced that the monthly premiums are fair and reasonable, the service and support from Pets Plus Us is great and I have a peace of mind when and if I need help with expensive veterinary bills.

Trupanion Changes Policy Often to Avoid Paying Out on Claims
Trupanion is like any other insurance company, they annually change their policy and continue to introduce loopholes so they don't have to pay out on claims. I have been a member for over 10 years, and still am only because two of my pets have been enrolled since they were kittens and now they are aging and have established conditions that I receive coverage for. However, I have noticed over the years the more rejections I receive to my claims (despite all of my pets enrolled at a young age with no founded pre-existing conditions). Specifically, resportive lesions is an ailment my one cat suffers and has been previously covered for several years until all the sudden they don't cover them and they don't grandfather ailments in. I have dropped my coverage on my dog and did not enroll my two new pets. I will never use their service again and I would absolutely recommend someone looking for affordable options to look into Banfield or vet plans verse insurance. The pet insurance game is just as underhanded as the medical insurance for people.

Love how easy it is to make a claim. I just pay my bill at the vet, take a picture of the bill and use the app to upload the bill. Two days later I get my reimbursement. Easy!

I have had the most positive experience with AKC Pet Insurance. I can call anytime to check my coverage and the people I've spoken to have always been exceptionally helpful and professional. My claims have always been acknowledged via e-mail and paid promptly upon acceptance. I cannot recommend them enough.
