BEST Choice in Pet Insurance
We brought our adorable 8 week old French bulldog puppy Milo home in November 2017. As a new dog owner I immediately started to research pet insurance because I was unfamiliar with it and wasn’t sure if it was worthwhile. After researching and comparing pet insurance I decided to invest in Healthy Paws. I figured better safe than sorry. Everything was fine until Milo was about 1 ½ years old and he started to have medical issues. He had his veterinarian which lead to his animal ophthalmologist and eventually his neurologist. It was finally determined the next course of medical action was to have an MRI and Spinal tap performed. Without thinking, because you will do anything for your little furry family member, we went ahead with the costly procedure just to finally rule out a neurological issue. We made this decision thinking we would have to pay for the procedure out of pocket. When I finally took a look at the coverage Healthy Paws provided for Milo’s policy, it covered 80% of the procedure minus the deductible. A good portion of the cost was covered by Healthy Paws, which was a financial relief, along with the relief of finding out Milo did not have a neurological issue. Healthy Paws customer service was very friendly and great to work with and the claim submission process was very easy and once all the required medical records were submitted it only took a couple of weeks to receive the check in the mail. I HIGHLY recommend Healthy Paws if you are looking for medical coverage for your family pet.

Trupanion is amazing!
I have had the misfortune of having a clearly accident prone puppy, crossing all my fingers that he grows out of it at adulthood! If it weren't for Trupanion, I'd be in serious trouble. They have been there for me through the hardest of times, and I am eternally grateful.

Great company, you cannot go wrong with them.
I hoped to never use this insurance but am so happy that I got it. Bilbo was diagnosed with osteosarcoma in January of 2020 just when he turned 7. I filed the claim. Since then I have been more than pleased with the help that Trupanion has provided. They have paid every claim usually within 4 days according to the policy. The policy clearly states what will be paid and they have lived up to their contract with me. This has been a very trying 8 months but knowing that Trupanion is there to help with the financial part of Bilbos treatment has allowed me to focus on his quality of life. I will never be without pet insurance and in the future if I need insurance I will buy it from Trupanion. Great company, great customer claim service, and they conduct their business with integrity.

I have the same complaint as every one…
I have the same complaint as every one giving this company a bad rating. My deductible went from 250 to 750 from my first to my second year with the company, This is clearly a bait and switch operation and once they have you, you have you. If you try to move to another company, everything that was claimed with FIGO is considered a pre-existing condition. They can blame their underwriters all they want. The result is still the same. You made the decision to radically increase your rates in one year. Stay clear of this company. They should be ashamed of what they are doing to their customers

Outstanding service and coverage!! The best in the business!!
We have had your insurance since we purchased our English Bulldog 3 years ago. I admit I was a little skeptical at first, but after experiencing kennel cough as a puppy that require hospitalization and most recently , surgery for a torn ligament and soft tissue removal in the throat at a Specialist Hospital , True Companion lived up to its promise. I could only wish Human healthcare companies were this good!! I highly recommend TrueCompanion to anyone interested in Pet health coverage. I would also note that the Veterinarians we dealt with ALL Said True Companion was the best company they had dealt with.

Easy, communicative
Jackson has been covered by Embrace for almost a year and we’ve been happy ever since. Anything that isn’t covered under his policy is typically covered under the additional wellness rewards I have for him. Filing a claim is super simple, any questions are always answered by helpful, friendly customer service, and we get reimbursed within 2 weeks of filing the claim, but usually faster. So glad to have peace of mind knowing my boy is covered!

Remarkably good service and easy to claim
I give TruPanion 10/10 for everything. They have helped me with the costs of getting my 12yr old dog through cancer, ongoing problems with IBD and now his failing heart. It is a true comfort to know that they will help me get through the financial problem. I will certainly be using them again when the time comes for my beloved Teddy to move on and for me to raise another companion. Insurances are a scam; SAVE YOUR MONEY!
I got this policy, because of other great reviews and compared to other insurances, it seemed like they had the least wait period and had no lifetime limits. I paid $599 & some change for a 6-MONTH policy. My dog needed extraction for an abscess, which cost $999. With pet insurances, you pay UP FRONT COSTS directly to the vet and then I guess IF your claim gets APPROVED, after paying your deductible on top of what you’ve already paid for the policy, you will get some reimbursement (which most likely will not cover all the extra bs miscellaneous costs that vets charge.) HOWEVER, the disclaimer comes with a long list and the statement IF IT GETS APPROVED. If I had money to pay up front, there is NO REASON for me to NEED this insurance!! I also know it’s the pandemic, so they took about a month to tell me my claim was DENIED. Their reason is that my dog needed cleaning for at least 13 MONTHS, but even the website says they don’t cover pre-existing conditions & periodontal disease. I’m not sure about anywhere else but in the state of FL, the biggest issue in pets is periodontal disease. Long story short, they PROVED to me that insurances are SCAMS. A guy recently posted that because his dog had a preexisting condition & fell, it wasn’t covered either. I’m really NOT sure why I pay insurances for. If I just saved the money I paid into it, I would never need them. I think all insurances just want our money but they really don’t want us to use them. That’s how they profit. It’s sad that pets are being profitted too and it’s even more sad that animals get abused, abandoned, & euthanized simply because they can’t afford expensive vet bills and insurances they can’t use. I recommend saving your money for emergency funds, visit non-profit vet hospitals instead of wasting it on unnecessary insurance that you can’t use when you need it. Believe me, I don’t want to use it and I hope to never need it, but to deny conditions that you know is prevalent in these animals is really “clever.” Bottom line: DON’T WASTE YOUR MONEY & TIME, because insurances are a SCAM. They don’t really want you to use it.
