I really haven't used this insurance very much - not enough to know if it is really worth the money for a young dog.

I have never had one of my claims covered.

I have never had one of my claims covered. I only carry it for an emergency. Total waste, I am sure there are better insurances offered elsewhere.

I have been a member for 8 years with 2 cats and only a couple of claims in that time.

I have been a member for 8 years with 2 cats and only a couple of claims in that time. One of my cats tends to get stress related urinary issues that result in a clean urinalysis but she does well on the pain med they prescribe.After a great experience with Trulaniln the first this last one was as horrible. " Frame was not sympathetic even though my claim was approved they would not pay anything as there had been more than 6 months between her suspected uti and said my deductible was not met . Also that if it happened again if more than 6 months from nowa new deductible would come into play. Vet assumes these are stress related but Trupanion assumes they are bacterial incidents even though urinalysis is clean. I think I need to find new insurance and will stop recommendin Trupanion . So disappointd after what I used to think was a lovely company
