Worth the Price - peace of mind is priceless
I love, love, love Trupanion. Anyone who thinks paying for pet insurance is wasteful hasn’t experienced two kitties getting sick within 6 months of each other and the vet bills combined being over $8000. First the peace of mind I had knowing that my kitties were be able to get the best care. Second, knowing that I could afford the exorbitant expenses because Trupanion covered so much of the bills. I was reimbursed over $6000 and quickly! No punishment, no increase in premium.

Money Well Spent
Very glad we got Trupanion when our pupper was young. A few years ago we discovered that she has OCD in both hind legs and the costs have been significant. To date, I believe Trupanion has covered around $18,000 in associated costs. This is the policy you should buy. Trupanion have been fair and lived up to their end of the bargain.

Overall I am happy with the insurance…
Overall I am happy with the insurance however my pup has had the same surgery twice with the same vet hospital (intestinal blockage because she eats stupid things....errrr). The second time the deductible and charges allowed were drastically different due to the way they were billed. Turpanion applied my deducible twice because of this. Second surgery cost me an additional 2k out of pocket over the previous surgery and itemized bills were almost the same. Also monthly rates went up ~$20-25/month shortly after the first surgery (renewal time). I can hardly wait to see what the next renewal is. It's good to have the insurance and they saved me from having to put my dog down but still their processes are questionable.

No pet owner should be without this insurance! The costs of pet care are soaring and had it not been for Trupanion, we would have been in a terrible bind with the two back-to-back surgeries are dog required. Everyone at Trupanion was great. Long before anyone started a discussion on what might possibly not be covered, they were asking about how the dog was doing. I think the company actually cares about pets and these days that says a great deal. It is money well spent and I would not hesitate to insure another pet with Trupanion.

Great Pet Insurance!
Healthy Pet Insurance has been very helpful and responsive for all my dog insurance needs. My 11 year old Bella had a major lung surgery and the claim was processed in 2 days. This really provides a peace of mind when a pet parent only has to worry about the well being of the pet! Thank you Healthy Pet!
