Existing conditions need to be reviewed!
I did not have insurance. the first time I took my puppy to the vet, there was a spot on his belly and it was documented as allergies! I tried to appeal although nothing. This is not fair!

Responsive and TImely
Nationwide has insured Buddy since he was born. Over the past 18 months (starting at 3 years old) he began "gutting"/ eating too much stuff, and required 3 surgeries in one year plus other visits for xrays and more. Nationwide's system for submitting, reviewing and responding has been great. Their coverage has shift during the policy period to be less and less. We are getting about 60% of the bills paid back to us from each claim.

The old jingle, “Nationwide is on your side” certainly holds true for their pet insurance as well. It is the best decision to insure our dog as a puppy when we first brought her home. We LOVE the helpline and claims are very easy and fair.
