Quick claim processing

When I first joined VPI back in the 1990's, the claims took about a month to process. Nationwide took over and now the claims are processed within a few days. My only problem is I tried to have the checks deposit electronically into my checking account but that failed after it worked once time. I don't understand why I had to go thru the process for each claim.

Best thing you can do for yourself and your fur babies!

First, when shopping for pet insurance you will find that Figo, hands down, provides THE most flexibility in policy customization. Once you select your coverage level (yes there are options!) you can choose from several combinations of annual deductible, annual payout limit, and percentage of coverage. Figo is also one of the only (if not THE only) pet insurance companies to offer both an unlimited annual payout option and a 100% coverage option on claims (most max out at 90%). So let's talk claims... I have three cats and a dog and unfortunately have had to use my pet insurance on more than a few occasions (no worries they are all fine now). Simple. Basically just upload images of the bill then wait... and not for long. The quickest turnaround between submitting a claim and confirmation of coverage was 14 minutes. No $h*t. I think the longest may have been one business day. Then just a few days until the money hits your account. One more thing - cost. I have spent the time and have done the research on I believe every pet insurance company in existence (I can spend time doing that because I have no human children). Figo has the most competitive rates for the coverage. Period. I know this is a very wordy review but there are very few things that I am this passionate about. I am very grateful for this insurance and tell everyone about it that will listen. I could not recommend it more. Thank you.

Trupanion is still standing by us in Marty's old age!

Marty, now 15, is facing some fairly serious surgery in a few days, and Pet Insurance has been in touch with me about the costs and coverage. It's a relief to know that a great part of the expenses will be covered, and our vet says he should be fine. Previous bill have been paid in the past, and I don't have to pay ahead and get reimbursed, as it was when Marty was a puppy. It's so efficient! I am very grateful!
