It was pretty easy to get a policy
It was pretty easy to get a policy. And inexpensive. The first claim I processed was also easy and was correct. My experience so far has been really good. I would reference Pets best to my friends for their babies.

Peace of mind when making decisions about Furkids’ future
My first cat was not a Trupanion cat and he got sick and died at 13 with renal failure; pet insurance wasn’t really a thing during his lifetime and I struggled to pay his medical costs. After his passing, I signed up my other cat and then our two dogs for trupanion; eventually I adopted a 15 year old cat and signed him up as well. I haven’t regretted my decision in getting them all health insurance. Trupanion has been there when I was emotionally distraught about the decisions I needed to make over their health and helped take away the need to make decisions because of costs; I could make them based on what was better for my furkid rather than the cost of the procedure. That alone has given me a peace of mind well worth the monthly fee. I recommend Trupanion to everyone I speak with about pet insurance.

Trupanion is AWESOME
Trupanion paid ~$30,000 to help us give our Coco the healthiest, longest and happiest life. Because of Trupanion we were always able to tell our vet to please "treat her as if she was your own"! When she needed a $12,000 surgery, we didn't have to even think twice. And, Trupanion's ability to pay our vet directly in seconds is AMAZING! We've never seen such incredible customer service! <3 We have come to realize that vet medicine and vet dental are like human medicine and dental and would never be without Trupanion for our beloved family member! Please be kind to your vet and staff too! They get paid a fraction of what human medical professionals get paid and they have a very tough job because many clients think they're in it only for the money and treat them badly. (Vet school is just as hard or harder to get into than med school and the huge debt load is about the same!) On top of all that, dogs and cats hide their pain and can bite/scratch the people who are just trying to help them!

Life-saver
I've had pets and livestock for 40 years. After I lost my beloved companion to cancer this past January and going through 8 mos of chemo with him, I knew I was going to look opt for pet insurance for any pets I adopted in the future. When we adopted Lulu, our COVID baby, I thoroughly researched multiple insurance companies. I chose Healthy Paws because of their customer rating and price. I couldn't be happier. After the initial set-up with the vet, I can submit claims from my phone in 2 mins. They respond within 24hr, sometimes within the hour. And I'm reimbursed by direct deposit within 3-5 days. If only human insurance worked as well.

Trip anion is Awesome!

Excellent All Around
We have had Healthy Paws insurance for our Boxer mixed breed rescue for several years and we couldn’t be happier. It is simple to submit claims and their processing is extremely fast.
