Great service and over-all wonderful company.
I had another company for 13 years with my former dachshund. Was never satisfied with their slowness AND the reimbursement was almost nothing. My sister has EMBRACE for her dog, and once I got Teddy, I knew I would use Embrace. Very easy to submit a claim, great price and fantastic customer service. All I could ask for in a Pet Insurance company. I thank you and USAA as well.

Holly Finds the First Foxtail of the Season!
I recently had the option to sign up for pet insurance through my employer. Two months later, Holly inhaled what is possibly the very first foxtail of the season. We knew what it was right away as this is the second time this has happened to her and that large boxer snout of hers. The last time was painful for her, and for us, when we were told what removal was going to cost. But there's no alternative, so we quickly took her to the vet where she had surgery to remove the bugger and by 8:00pm that night I was submitting my claim to Nationwide. Within a week, I receive an email notifying me that my claim had been paid. The following week, I had a check. I'm very glad I signed up for this insurance and grateful that it covered most of this unexpected expense.

Easy claim and quick response
This was our first claim for a real incident with our dog, and resulted in a significant number of unplanned vet visits. As a result, we were obviously concerned about costs, as well as the wellbeing of our pooch. Nationwide made this really, really easy. We found that by submitting the claim online, it was processed and paid basically immediately, and we could focus on the health of Seamus instead of on the financials. I've already been a bit of an evangelist to my friends about this insurance, but having it help so drastically with unplanned out of pocket expenses was icing on the cake. The policy has paid for itself so far, and then some.
