Healthy Paws Insurance is life saver for fur babies
To say that I am thankful to Healthy Paws is an understatement. They literally saved my life and my cat's life. At 6 years old, my little Pitchoun unexpectedly fell ill and had to have a major surgery. He stayed several days at the veterinarian hospital and bills started to pile up. Healthy Paws Insurance has been so easy to deal with in these times of stress. I don't know how I could have gone through this terrible ordeal without them. Not only did they reimburse each bill in a timely fashion, but they went the extra mile, even checking on my cat weeks after the surgery to make sure he was doing fine. Dealing with Healthy Paws Insurance is like dealing with a friend or family member. The service is very personal and it is exactly what a customer needs in times of trouble. I am recommending Healthy Paws Insurance to all my friends who have pets, and will continue to advocate for this wonderful company. A huge THANK YOU to the Healthy Paws team from my little cat and I.

Insurance went up 50% after 2 years
After 2 years with Trupanion, the insurance went up 50% which is $50 more than the previous year. I would not recommend it because, in the contact, there is no cap on how many they can increase year over year.

Pets Best is the WORST COMPANY OVER THE…
Pets Best is the WORST COMPANY OVER THE FACE OF THE EARTH!!!.. Don't do business with this people, don't throw your money in this TRASH CAN type of company! To open your account is easy and everything in the Policy is INCLUDED, but when you file a CLAIM and the result of your Claim :everything is EXCLUDED!!! After paying a little more than a $100 premium a month for our dog for several months, we made a Claim for $770. We supposed to have the best recommended coverage and, after 2 months waiting, we received a payment for $71. Save your money and take good care of your Pet, but instead of Pets "Best", I will go to social media promoting their REAL NAME... Pets WORST!!!

Loyalty is gone...
Healthy Paws and us go way back... back to the beginning when our pup was only 3 months old. He's 5 now and we've never once had anything coverable by this insurance, (because they only cover select issues). We have however, had our premiums increase OVER 160%, that's a hike of about $1,200 annually. The only response I received when I questioned the enormous increase was that - "there were many other animals within our state that they needed to cover". They will lure you with a low payment up front and quickly jack your rates up without notice and soon you find yourself spending thousands for nothing. Avoid at all costs.

There is no reason not to buy a policy from Healthy Paws
Absolutely no complaints with healthy paws. Our pooch just had a tumor removed and we only had to pay $180 for the surgery. Her policy is quite clear as to what is covered - we pay for exams and 10% of anything else once the deductible is met. We've never had an issue and get paid within a week of a claim. I just recommended healthpaws to a coworker who had to start a gofundme to pay for her dog's recent surgery. It is nice never to have to worry ourselves.
