Great insurer; I wouldn't use any other company
Unfortunately, we've had a lot of medical bills for our dog. We've had Figo since we got hm as a puppy, and they have always paid out with no hassles and really quickly on claims that are covered by our policy . The few times I've called them for info, they've been really helpful. I highly recommend them to any pet owner.

Peace of Mind - Priceless
When in the emergency room you can be faced with deciding between trying to save your pet for exorbitant fees or making a heartbreaking choice. Having good pet insurance relieves you of this burden and allows you to focus on getting your companion well. My dog was hospitalized with aspiration pneumonia just before Christmas -- it was an emergency room visit in the middle of the night, she had a temperature of 103. My claim was initially denied because my dog had a pre-existing condition for GI issues (she had been prescribed a GI prescription diet once when she was a puppy). When I called Nationwide the representative verified that I still could qualify for reimbursement because my dog qualified for a review. Since my dog had satisfied the waiting period for this particular pre-existing condition my claim was granted. What a relief and validation that my decision to cover my pet with this coverage was a truly wise decision. I am very grateful to the representative who helped me.

They reimbursed the cost of dental services for my cat Kittybear, within less than a week. It was a big Bill and such a relief to have 90% of it covered.
