Great Coverage
A great multitude of coverage options. We switched to have our accident plan here as they also allow wellness add-ons to the accident plans. I wish that ASPCA would be like some other that offer a referral bonus as 2-3 of our friends have converted or looked into switching as well. It can take a little longer to review payment etc but overall good coverage.

We have dealt with Trupanion for many years. You often hear horror stories about the challenges in terms of dealing with insurance claims. Trupanion frankly has been amazing. As our pooch nears the end of his life we thought it important to acknowledge the quality service, fair response, ease of claims and empathy that we have received. Thank you Trupanion!

have been with pets Best for many years and several company changes. The biggest complaint i have now is that their time tp do claims has increased greatly. I was used to the old claims sectin being relatively quick, sometimes in a few days to a week. they always apologize but 6 weeks to get a claim resolved seems a bit to much.

ASPCA gave me peace of mind and allowed me to be sure that my beloved pet got all the care he needed to live as long as he did I will forever be grateful for that. There was never a claim that was questioned or not paid out in a timely manner I recommend ASPCA pet health insurance to all my friends and family. And when I do get another pet I will for sure immediately re-purchase the insurance.

Great in theory, not so much in practice
I originally signed up for Embrace because it was the best coverage for the price available. I've been disappointed since then - it is a real struggle to get in contact with Embrace: I often have to send them 2 or 3 or even 4 messages before I get a response (although I will say, when I do hear back, they are very polite and try their best to be informative!) My biggest issue is that claims I have submitted for my dog a month ago still have not gone through, because Embrace states they don't have a record of my dog's full medical history; however, I have sent them a record of every vet visit my dog has had in her whole life (she's only a year old!). Additionally, the premium increased by 20% ($10 more PER MONTH!) when it was time for me to renew. Lastly, I once submitted a medical history review for my older cat to make sure she didn't have anything that Embrace would consider "pre-existing conditions" - despite multiple follow ups on my part, Embrace never completed this review. I hope they will improve their service and their prices will not continue to increase at such an outrageous rate, or else I will have to go elsewhere!
