I really like having the Trupanion policy. When there's nothing wrong, and my baby is okay, I'm happy to pay premiums. When I get vet bills, it feels like Trupanion has my back and will give me the benefit of the doubt instead of trying to find a way to avoid paying claims. Would recommend to my friends/family.

Not worth it!
I have 2 dogs. I have put in more then several claims. Not 1 cent back. What's the point in the insurance if you don't get nothing back. It's just another 100 bucks more each month I have to dish out on top of the vet bills. Not happy. Was told they where very good and will always get some sort of compensation. It's cheaper to just take the vet bills and just pay it I'll save several hundred each month with out paying insurance for somthing I don't get composited for.

Great Coversge with Easy Claims Process
I have 5 dos and decided to take insurance out on the 3 younger ones the beginning of this year. Our puppy needed surgery followed by bi-weekly shots and laser treatments. A week following our other dog needed treatment from an ER due to a torn esophagus. Submitting the multiple claims online has been efficient and reimbursement has been hassle free. I am so glad I chose to get pet insurance, and even more so, that I chose Nationwide for coverage! Highly recommend this company to any pet owner!
