Lifesaver
Having this insurance has saved me so much stress and debt. Dogs are not just animals, but our kids. And just like kids, they need to go to the dr for routine visits and emergencies. You just never know what could happen. I wish I had known about it sooner. From Zoey the Dalmatian and myself, thank you. We appreciate you putting us first.

Pleasantly surprised that Nationwide would cover my 11 year old Corgi!
I didn’t think I could get pet insurance for my 11 year old Corgi. Wow! Was I surprised by Nationwide Pet Indurance! (Of cours, pre-existing conditions are not covered.) I have filed two claims this year and they’ve both been paid.

My honest review of PetsBest
Just 2 stars. I wish I can rate more then 2 ... I lost my buddy in April last year, painful loss for my entire family. He was covered by Nationwide (former VPI) health insurance and they do have max payoff coverage. When we rescued new pup I stated shopping around and got blinded by all good reviews and promised service. Sure enough I was on a cloud after they processed all our beginning claims in 2-4 days paying 90% as they promised. Now I back to reality - all they do ON TIME is grab your insurance payment. Everything else? Well , my last 5-6 claims delayed 15-20 days and most changed from Medical claim to Wellness claim , sure enough Wellness claims not paid because max amount already paid. I guess time to go back to Nationwide or shop around... PS. Only real best part - phone consultations with vets , if you need urgent vet care or opinion, they really great helping you, thank you at least for that.

This insurance company is amazing. If you have questions a person answers the phone! You don’t have to press a million numbers before you get a human. Submitting a claim is so easy. They payout very fast and are always fair.

Quick Processing, no issues!
We subimtted my dog's claims after a bout of pancreatitis. It was processed, reviewed and paid out with in a week! It was a relief not to have to be questionned while my pup was recovering. So glad we have this insurance!
