Stay away, misleading coverage maximums
The worst customer service and false coverage. On a 6 week trial that had an option to be extended on the same plan. My pup had to have emergency surgery and I had been at ease knowing I had $7500 in coverage to cover it. Went to submit the claim and BOOM. We're happy to inform you you've been approved for $1000. STAY CLEAR OF THIS COMPANY

So happy to have Nationwide in our corner
My dog recently had an emergency dental surgery, then needed to be rushed back to the vet after he was stumbling around a bit. This was a hefty vet bill split over three visits and Nationwide was great in dealing with everything. They processed my claim very quickly and cover the vast majority of the bill. Couldn't be happier with everything.

Nationwide is very good! They are very quick. I do not hesitate to take my dogs in if they are not well. Baloo Bear has dislocated his hip again. We had surgery 4 months ago. We are not opting for more surgery. We are trying to keep him comfortable 😩

Thanks so much for continuing to help us with Rose’s ongoing care after her diagnosis of adrenal gland cancer and her surgery. We are thrilled that Rose’s chest X-ray and abdominal ultrasound show no signs of cancer! Trupanion has been fantastic, quickly reimbursing her medical claims from the surgery through the follow up care. Everyone we have dealt with has been so kind and caring. The best thing we did was get Trupanion!

Get this insurance for your puppy or kitty when you bring the home!
We’ve carried this insurance since 1987 when we brought our first Yorkie puppy home. I ALWAYS recommend it to new “parents”. You can tailor the policy to meet your premium budget for deductibles, standard coverage for both wellness visits (shots, etc.) and illness. We have been totally pleased with this insurance. We tried a different insurance company once to save on premiums and had an emergency clinic bill over $3,000.00 that the alternate insurance didn’t cover. Now we would have no other than Nationwide Pet Insurance.
