Honestly I was just about to cancel my pet dog insurance and then I had to take my dog Onyx to the vet due to a toe nail injury he had while walking in my neighborhood! I paid over $400 for the visit and since I'm not currently working, I was thinking to save money and cancel my pet insurance. I submitted the claim and it was fully paid back to me! My dog is going to be 11 years o age this month of March and I can not think of canceling the insurance knowing that I have peace of mind knowing my dog will have the coverage he may need in some near future. The customer service is one of the best!

I have been with Pets Best for 6 years, covering 2 of our cats. I have been truly impressed with their claims processing. They have covered a significant portion of claims I’ve filed, without question. So easy! Their web portal is extremely user friendly. I have needed to call regarding a claim and received excellent customer service. Highly recommend!

Greatly satisfied with Nationwide Pet Insurance and the staff!
I have selected Nationwide Pet Insurance for my Toy Poodle now 10 months old. He has received Wellness Care as a puppy. He recently was treated for an illness. My experience with Nationwide Pet Insurance began when I called for information and I was given the courtesy of receiving answers to my concerns. I needed call as a followup and received the same courtesy from another agent. My veterinary claims have been processed in a timely manner. The email system being used by Nationwide to inform of their receiving a claim and processing the claim is greatly appreciated. I am thankful that Nationwide Pet Insurance was suggested to me by a family member.

It's great insurance but beware premiums increases
I've had some claims and they reimbursed easily after a few weeks. I've had coverage for 2 cats going back 9 years now. Each year there was a slight increase to premium but this past year they are raising my premiums from $55/month for 2 cats (ages 6 and 10) to $73/month. That's a huge increase and I didn't even file any claims last year. I imagine it might be because the one cat is 10 now and it's infeasible to cancel and start insurance with another company for a cat over 10 (some don't cover them at all). I like the peace of mind if something major happened but paying this increased premium really makes me rethink this company.

Reasonable rates with great coverage
Reasonable rates with great coverage. Super easy to file a claim. Would recommend Pets Best to anyone looking. Our baby was diagnosed with medial luxating patella in both legs requiring surgery. Pets Best has provided excellent coverage so far. Surgery was a success, now in after care.
