Trupanion is very responsive and makes the claim process very simple. I have a dog with a chronic condition that requires meds, supplements, and periodic blood tests. They cover claims as advertised.

A+ customer service, little coverage
My experience has been great so far, as far as customer service goes and how easy the website to use is. However I was a little surprised at how little was actually covered when my dog was hit by a car and needed emergency care. Out of $550 we only received $150 back. Considering I pay more for my dogs insurance monthly than I do my own, I felt that was a little ridiculous. It wont be often he will need emergency care so I will probably shop around for cheaper rates at this point. I went with Trupanion originally because it seemed more was covered, but I am seeing now that what is covered are probably things we will never need to use. Again, customer service has been great and the website is easy, it was very easy to upload my claim info.
