Beware of Loopholes!
Claim was submitted for chiropractic manipulation for a limp my dog was experiencing. This will be an ongoing procedure (weekly until the limp is gone), with preventative treatments (he does agility). It was turned down because it included an initial exam to see if this holistic method would be of benefit. He was injured. Not sure how he could be treated without an initial evaluation.

Because in light of current events I feel the outcome was terrible.
Because in light of current events I feel the outcome was terrible. I will have to call back again unfortunately and there is not enough time or energy to go around presently I am in quarantine and need my rest. To worry about extending my payment date again in ridiculous under the circumstance.

I could tell from his answers that they weren't pre-written answers, but he truly cared about me as a customer and wanted to make sure my family was taken care of and that we stayed healthy during these troubling times. I've never had an issue with Trupanion in the first place, but this is the first time I've had to reach out to their customer service. I can't recommend them enough, especially compared to other companies in different industries that give so little in terms of customer service.

Our dog survived and so did our finances
After spending weeks of not knowing if our dog was going to pull through a new, sudden illness, the last thing on our minds were the very large ICU bills piling up. And once they did, we were even more stressed and devastated. Luckily Trupanion helped cover most of the costs so we could get our guy the care and medications he needed and still may need for some time. We feel very lucky to have the option of pet insurance from Trupanion.
