Spectacular Response and Service
Our 5 plus year old Bernese Mountain Dog cross contracted mast cell cancer on his lower leg which required surgery and a skin graft and a two week stint in a specialty vet hospital.Trupanion was there with us all the way paying their share of the Bill's directly through the hospital. Our dog has made a full recovery and is cancer free. Thank you Trupanion. We signed up with Trupanion when our dog was 9 weeks or so old. What a life saving move that was!

The claims experience is painless
The claims experience is painless, and the amount of peace of mind we gain during emergencies with our pet, knowing that we don't have to have the "can we afford to save their life?" discussion is priceless. The per-issue deductible can hurt your wallet a lot when you've got an active and clumsy pup, but most pet insurance plans have that policy, and overall they have saved us so much money and heartbreak. 10/10 would recommend.

I don’t like how every year my plan goes up.
Overall I’m pleased with what gets covered for my dog but since 2015 every year my plan gets more and more expensive and I don’t know why. 2015 I was paying 55 for my installment payment. I’m now paying $110 for my installment.

Get Trupanion - You’ll be glad you did
For years I had paid into Trupanion and was fortunate enough to never have to make any considerable claim (beyond small medication), but recently it was required that our dog undergo 2 emergency operations, which had significant costs associated with them. I called Trupanion and they immediately put my mind at ease, and helped walk me through the entire process. They were phenomenal to deal with - everyone I spoke with was extremely sympathetic, understanding and helpful. I cannot say enough good things about Trupanion - I have recommended them to everyone I know who has a pet, and I recommend you give Trupanion a call if you haven’t already, you’ll be glad you did.

Two new knees and a brand new dog
Two new knees and a brand new dog Our dog Jacks is super fit and active, and loves fetch like no other animal alive. He tore his K9 ACL and was completely non-weight bearing at the age of 2. Trupanion covered the costs of his entire surgery, follow ups, X-rays, and then the other leg when he did the same thing 3 months after recovering. He also managed to rip off three cones, completely destroy a wire crate, and shred whatever we put between him and ripping out his stitches. Again, Trupanion was great and easy to deal with all 3 times we needed to get him re-stitched. I could not recommend this peace of mind more.

I am very happy with Trupanion. They have made my life so much easier since my dogs health went downhill a year ago. Amazing response period. I was having my backsplash installed a month ago, installer was looking for insurance for new rescue puppy. I couldn't say enough good things about Trupanion. He called his wife and they signed up.
