What would we do without them?!?!
I don't know what I would have done without them. I signed up for healthy paws a few days after I picked up my perfect little pup, he's now 5 years old. This year has been a doozy!! He tore his ACL on the left side in June, the surgery was 5k, he then needed physical therapy, and right when we were clear to get back to normal activity he tore the other side, only 3 months later! This side was 6k because they also found a mass they needed to remove. Over 12k in vet bills in 3 months, and more to come with therapy. Healthy paws saved his quality of life! We simply submit the bills via thier app and within a few days have our 90% refund. They even emailed personally to check in on him after the fact. We do not know what we would do without Healthy Paws, I recommend them to all my friend and anyone I meet with a new puppy.

Everyone we've interacted with at Healthy Paws was so nice and caring, and even followed up to check on our cat after he got out of the hospital. The site is easy to navigate and everything is intuitive, so it was quick and easy to file our claim. They were quick to respond with any questions from us and communicated everything clearly.

As a pet owner that paid for Healthy Paws Pet Insurance for over 3 years, I had my first chance to use it when two of my healthy 3 year old cats landed in the emergency room with a severe upper respiratory virus, at the same time. Five days in the hospital and many thousands of dollars later, I sent in the medical documents and bills to Healthy Paws wondering what kind of response I would receive. Not only were they quick in responding, they answered the phone, called me back and even called the Vet directly to request the necessary backup documents. The checks arrived quickly - before the credit card bills themselves - and were simple to read and tie back to the bills. But most unforgettable were the conversations I had with various employees when I called with questions. Each person was clearly an animal lover, going above and beyond to ensure my focus could remain on my pets and not on insurance red tape. I highly recommend Healthy Paws.

Best pet insurance on the market
Healthy paws gives you so many options to choose from. Their customer survice is very friendly and understanding. I had to take my dog Peach to a hospital for tummy issues. The cost was over $900. Healthy Paws reimburst me 90% within days. You just can't do better than that.

They have been wonderful.
My dog is covered by a Healthy Paws policy and was diagnosed with a nasal tumor recently. The company has covered everything per the policy, sending checks quickly. It has given me the rare luxury of making the treatment decisions based solely on what will be best for her, with no major concern about my financial situation. I have tight finances, can afford the deductible and copay, and am very happy I made the decision when she joined the family to insure her. So many people say, "just put the money aside that you would pay for insurance." I know that I would never do that, or if I did, would dip into it for say, an unexpected automobile or home repairs. But also, my father told me that you should insure against disasters. My previous experience with canine disasters is that it would take longer than a dog lives to cover the cost of one. (In that experience, I took out two loans with Care Credit and went home with a can of ashes at the end.) I am very grateful to be able to make decisions for her benefit and to enjoy the time we have.

For a previous pet, who was not insured, I took out two loans and in the end had the loans but no dog. This is a dire diagnosis, but I can make good decisions and enjoy the time we have together.

If not for Trupanion, either my 17-year old kitty, Shadoe, would no longer be here or I would be tens of thousands of dollars in debt! I’m so glad I signed her up when I did!! Plus, the card I received when we lost her adoptive brother quite suddenly a few years ago meant the world to me, especially because the vet’s office we used at the time was so cold to us.,
