Best Dog Insurance
I highly, highly recommend Healthy Paws! My small yorkie has had a luxating patella surgery, a revision surgery, acute pancreatitis, and other issues. Healthy Paws has covered 80% on all of these expenses. Healthy Paws has saved me thousands of dollars! The customer services is always superb. Thank you Healthy Paws for all that out have done for my dog.

BANK your money instead!
I have been paying pet insurance for 10 years now and I would have been better off saving the money monthly in a bank. I recently made 2 claims and both I am having issues with. One was solved today! They did not pay for the vet call out fee (watch out for this as this is not in the exclusion of the policy, only the exam fee is) and I had to dispute this, and after a few phone calls and a visit to the vet, who made a phone call ( why could they have not called the vet), and they decided to reimburse me for the vet call out fee. I have another outstanding claim which I put in for preapproval in September (my dog’s op was in early October) and I am still waiting for a pay out. My claim, they said was denied because they did not have the final invoice from the vet!! Rather than saying, ‘your application is pending until we get the final bill.’ Needless, to say, I am not happy! My biggest regret is not saving the money- have spent about $15000 so far on pet insurance and both my claims were just over 1000$!! And I will be lucky to get half of it back!

My dog has bad very teeth, he has been taken out 18 teeth in 3 surgeries in last few years. Trupanion pays as the insurance policy within few days, not even ask a question. Thank you Trupanion

I submitted my first claim with Pets Best last month. Even though it took a few weeks for them to process the claim, they kept me informed during the process and the claim was paid quickly once it was complete.
