Useless
I’ve been paying this “insurance” premium for over a year with no claims. The only thing that happened was my premium went up and my coverage decreased, which I didn’t even know about as I didn’t know this would happen and had no reason to check on my policy. I finally file a small claim of less than $300 for an accident claim, wait weeks, and am denied? Absolutely useless.

We have not enjoyed dealing with Trupanion
We have not enjoyed dealing with Trupanion pet insurance. Our primary difficulty has been with getting an accurate and fair coverage summary. The process has been painful at best and we're very upset with how they determine pre-existing conditions. For starters we adopted our puppy at 12weeks old and the summary process kept trying to get information about her from before she was our pet. We were only provided with a Florida standard pet adoption form stating her vaccination record and that she had been examined. Trupanion kept insisting on getting more information from her vet before adoption. After considerable back and forth they ultimately just changed the start date of her coverage to after her visit with our vet...no big deal if there had not been a couple months of pain getting to that point. This should have been the solution from day one. They also had access to our exam records from our vet. Based on us (as new pug owners) asking our vet about how her eyes faced sideways (this was in the vet notes for some reason). They are excluding coverage for her eyes as pre-existing condition. Our vet wrote a detailed note explaining that there was no issue with her eyes and there never was a condition with her eyes...she's just a pug and they have weird looking eyes to a new owner. Because we had the audacity to ask our vet about them now they're not covered. This policy process is a rip-off...word to the wise don't ask any questions on your vet exam. Word to the wiser...go with a different company for pet insurance.

I recently joined Pets Best Pet Health Insurance and already had to file a wellness claim. They were quick at reviewing my claim and quick to deposit the $$ into my account and I am happy.

I have had ASPCA Insurance in the past for my previous fur babies. Questions were always answered promptly and when one passed they were always compassionate. Would always recommend to my friends.

Best decision we ever made
Best decision we ever made, getting Healthy Paws pet insurance for our pup. Already saved us literally thousands. Highly recommend getting insurance for your pets unless you like setting money on fire.

Don’t get this insurance
Too many things not covered even with all available insurance. Price caps on a lot of items, including vaccines and spay/neutering

Healthy Paws Insurance Is The Best!!!!!!!!!
I bought a Healthy Paws insurance policy for my English golden retriever in 2015. I have used it twice now. On October 22, 2020 are fur baby became very sick throwing up, diarrhea and then not being able to walk on his left side.I contacted are vet on a Saturday morning the 24th a 100 miles away and was told their was no available appointments that I should head to the ER immediately so we did. When we arrived at the ER 2 hours later and was met outside by the ER Tech, and was told we would have to leave Kody and that the doctor would call us in about 2 hours after examining Kody. Kody was admitted in to the hospital and treated for Gastroenteritis and ended there for a day in a half. Kody then needed to follow up with his regular vet one more time. after all said and done are bill was right at about $2400.00. On October 28th I turned in a claim to Healthy Paws for all medical bills that I Paid on my Visa for Kody's medical care. The following day I received an email stating that they had received my claim and that they would be processing it within the next 2 to 3 days. On November 2, 2020 I received a check from Healthy Paws for $1500.00 to pay the claim. I must say I was totally flabbergasted as to how fast they process their claims and without any hassle. Both times we have used this insurance it has been hassle free. As for are fur baby Kody has started to recover fully and is getting back to being himself playing, eating and talking we love are baby. Thank you Healthy Paws!!!!!! you are the best!!!!!!

Our 6 month old puppy ate TWO pairs of my underwear and had to have surgery. I was distraught and so nervous about the bill. The surgery was almost 6K and after Pets Best’s reimbursement we only had to pay around $800!! I have already recommended this company to so many pet owners after our amazing experience! Thank you so much Pets Best!
