I did extensive research when I was choosing my pet insurance.
I did extensive research when I was choosing my pet insurance. I wish that you didn¡¦t have to pay more for 100% coverage and that your prices didn¡¦t increase every year. However, I am happy about how quickly phone calls are answered and direct billing with my vet. But I have noticed on more than one occasion the attitude and irritability I receive when I am asking customer service reps questions. I recently had to ask Karissa why my emergency vet did not direct bill trupanion and billed me instead. She kept saying that there was outstanding questions about health history and that updating was done on ¡§a rolling basis¡¨. She did not offer to update my dog¡¦s health history while I was on the phone with her and she did not, in my opinion, provide me with a valid reason as to why this history has not been updated for an entire year (I signed up summer of 2019). If I am paying over $100 every month to this service why are they not calling me to inform me that they are missing information? Seems lazy to me.
