Excellent pet insurance! Everything has been quick and easy. I would not have been able to afford ongoing treatment for my cat without them.
EDIT 7/5/2020 I have to say I am very disappointed that HealthyPaws decided to bump up my premiums, possibly in response to my filling the numerous claims. I input my pets' exact ages and breed information to get a quote, and it was $40 lower than what they are trying to charge me now. I tried browsing their website to see anything about premiums rising in response to claims, but the FAQ just has a generic 'premiums will rise due to advances in technology'. So I am sad to say they apparently do not reward customer loyalty in the slightest. Unfortunately my cat now has a pre-existing condition precluding her from finding new insurance, but I will be shopping around for my other pets and I simply cannot afford the premiums even set at the lower reimbursement percentage. I have sent them an email and expect some unhelpful platitudes in response. Original: I have Healthy Paws insurance for all 3 of my animals. Only last year did I have to actually file a claim, and since then I am not sure what I would have done without them. My cat went into heart failure and was diagnosed with a progressive heart disease requiring daily medications, blood work every 3 months, and repeat echocardiograms. None of that is cheap but it is necessary to give my cat the best chance at a comfortable life for as long as possible. I submitted my first claim after owning her for 4 years so there was a lot of medical records to go through. It took roughly a week to review and have my first claim approved, but the company kept in touch and kept me updated on the progress. I had to call once to clarify a discrepancy with the medical record but it was quickly cleared up. After that, it was so easy to take a picture of my invoices and submit a claim on my phone via the app. Reimbursement would arrive within days directly in my bank account. I absolutely recommend Healthy Paws to anyone interested in pet insurance (and I highly recommend pet insurance in general!). They have been so incredibly helpful and quick to respond, and they have made the whole process super efficient. I am so grateful that I don't have to worry about whether I can afford lifesaving care for my pet thanks to them.

I was always Skeptical about insurance for dogs and never used it before and this is my first time using it I’ve had it for two years and I’m very happy that I did. The claim went through very quickly they paid like they said they would hope I never have to use it again because I love my dog.

I love this company!
We chose Healthy Paws for our two cats about 7 years ago and have been very happy with the coverage AND the customer service. The policy is affordable, filing a claim online is incredibly easy, and the reimbursements are generous. But the company's responsiveness is absolutely exceptional. They are always available to answer questions and explain things, and claims are handled promptly. They are sincerely interested in the health of your pet. (Our cats get birthday greetings from them, and yesterday I received an email asking how my elder cat was doing after cancer surgery.) I love this company. I have recommended them to every pet owner I know. They not only love pets, they show that they love YOUR pet. You won't find a better insurance company.

Really provide great support
My Husky mix is struggling with hypothyroidism, which is effecting her skin and health. Have had to do numerous test, several medications . My girls health and happiness is very important. Needless to say bills are mounting up, I am so grateful for Nationwide pet insurance. They are quick to review my claim and reimburse me.

Everyone I have ever spoken too, has always been very helpful and given great customer service. Ease of filing a claim, is so easy. Plus the turn around time for claims getting paid out, has greatly improved. It used to take a long time to see an update, and to receive a check, but now it takes a short time. Thank you. 😊

Great Pet Insurance
Nationwide was extremely helpful on the phone, and the speed with which they process claims is astounding. I submitted two claims and within 48 hours my checks were cut and in the mail. My only complaint is that I received a “how is your cat feeling after his recent vet visit” email... and the recent vet visit was for his remains to be cremated as he had passed at home. The email was probably in response to the first couple of claims, but the timing was about 24 hours after I submitted my claim for his cremation so it hit me at a bad time.

Claim to pay times are very fast!
I've noticed the claim to pay times have gotten significantly faster -- like that! Nationwide has always been a great experience for us, even through the high cost of losing a pet due to illness. We also like that my employer offers Nationwide and we pay via paycheck deduction. Very cool service.
