Slow & steady wins the race
We had two claims for Dora and received a request for more information. Right after I submitted the information I received notice that they still needed it. However, someone found it and followed up that Dora's claim was still open and being reviewed. It took a few months but once all the information was in we got our letters of coverage and it's working out well.

Costly surgery...claims paid quickly!
We've submitted at least 8 claims for ongoing treatments and meds for the same medical issue for our beautiful, docile 9 year old Cocker Spaniel. Trupanion made it somewhat easier for me to go through my Cocker' Spaniels surgery and continuing follow up appointments by processing and paying each claims in a timely manner. To pay many thousands of dollars out-of-pocket is not too difficult to do if you are reimbursed a significant portion of that money in a few weeks. Thank you Trupanion!

Unreliable and unresponsive
Ever since getting Nationwide insurance, it has been an uphill battle to get my claims paid. The worst part is they have added an ‘exclusion’ to my policy called ‘bandage’. Their customer service team can not explain to me what that means but it looks like an issue my dog has that requires a bandage will not be covered by my policy. I have called them dozens of times with no progress. It’s extremely frustrating.

Love Embrace Pet Insurance Customer Service, Pricing and ease of submitting a claim. When my wonderful Sherlock passed away, Embraced prorated and refunded his month premium payment without me having to ask. They also sent a very heartfelt condolences card.
