Reimbursements take much, much longer than they used to. Used to take about a week, and now, it can be close to three weeks for the funds to be reimbursed.

There when I needed them
Unfortunately this was my one and only claim. My 14 week lab began not eating and behaviors changed.My vet took over and unfortunate we lost her during surgery. Having the insurance gave me the confidence to know myself and the vet did everything to help my Lily.Trupanion took the claim and completed and paid within days. When the time comes for me to get another companion, Trupanion will be my first call.

The Insurance itself is very good.
I have a problem with the submitting of claim forms. Especially when I see I have done everything and then I find I am missing an invoice or a claim form and having to resubmit again is very time consuming. I am also having problems understanding your claim form website and sometimes I cannot even get to it. I still feel that I have not been reimbursed for flea and tick as the bill is not broken down as to what was paid. The payment is a limp sum figure. This my gripe. Sorry
