I have been paying for insurance with this company for nearly three years and haven't used it enough to make sense honestly. I have had a couple of small claims that didn't even come close to what I pay in each year. Today I am LIVID because a $91 claim was denied for and ear infection. When I called about this I was told it was because he had pre-existing allergies???? This company is a joke and tries to not pay claims!!! Go with Pets Best save yourself the headache... never should've left them. Fast paid claims, no run around, no excuses.

Healthy Paws Pet Insurance review
Healthy Paws Pet Insurance review Healthypaws has been a lifesaver this past year for my 4 year old Golden Retriever. I noticed her on and off limping for a while, and eventually after seeing a few vets, learned she had a torn ACL. The surgery was estimated to cost $4,800, along with the costs of all of the pre-work and post therapy. Healthypaws was prompt at responding to each claim leading up to the surgery, which gave me confidence that the surgery bill was not going to be issue. My large claim was processed within 2 days of submitting, and I have since received personal follow up emails checking in on her recovery. The app made it super easy to submit the claim, as well - took about 2 minutes total. Through all of the stress of the surgery itself, it's been a huge relief to not have to worry about the potential debt the procedure could have put me in if it wasn't for Healthpaws. Thank you for the support, Healthpaws!

So glad I have pet Insurance with Nationwide. Really helps with vet bills, they have a speedy turn around time to reimburse money, and so easy to submit invoice through the app. I tell all of my friends about how I don't know what I would do with out it. One of the best decisions I've made.

Helpful for non-routine visits!
We have had this policy for a very long time and I have to be honest, we were thinking of cancelling it because we have paid and paid and never used it (thank GOODNESS). Luckily we kept it - we had a few issues arise with Hope (our oldest fur baby) and are very pleased with the coverage. Thank you for helping us take good care of our Hopie and our other fur babies too.

More follow-up required by me than expected
Took a bit longer than I would have expected to hear back about my claim submitted (had to wait until I received paper letter to know they needed more info). Then when I tried to have vet submit info there was no confirmation of receiving information and I had to follow up. Once I found out I had to resubmit info again, I got this time confirmation that it was received but no timetable if it was approved or process until I called back. A little frustrating to say the least as it seemed I had to initiate a lot of the follow up. Waiting now on the review process as they do it in order they’re received again.
