Happy with Embrace

After being a insurance broker for 45 years I know a good carrier and this is one. Have had coverage for 2 yrs. in second year have had my first claim . They did a professional job . I'm happy so is my dog everything worked out for best outcome she OK ,I did get reimbursed as per my policy conditions .

Definitely get the Wellness rider

When we got our first dog my dog owner friends all told me to get her insured right away. I've only had cats and never even heard of getting insurance for them. But I took my friend's advice, shopped around and chose Embrace. I liked what I read and I also liked that they were a local (Midwestern) company. So far so good. It took me a while to understand what the "wellness" portion covered and what the "insurance" portion covered, now that I've got that figured out, it's all good. We use the Wellness portion more... for routine exams, shots, flea & heartworm meds and even nail trimming, we have a tooth cleaning coming up soon and it will pay for that too...anything that is considered prevention. And you get reimbursed in full. We've only had to use the insurance part a couple of times for an illness and an injury, and that's not as good because it usually just goes to your deductible. When it will pay off is when we (heaven forbid) have a major expense with our doggie. Hope we never have to find out,but it's good to have just in case. Sometimes it takes a little long to get the claim through, other times it's really fast. Guess it just depends on their volume. Laura is good and always checks in to make sure we received our check. If you are considering Embrace Insurance, I'd say go for it!

Healthy Paws has been fabulous!

I adopted a 6-month puppy August, 2012. After spending quite a bit of money sugically to fix a pre-existing broken foot condition, I decided to get pet insurance for my little boy. I scrutinized every pet health care plan available and decided upon Healthy Paws due to their overall coverage of medical issues and excellent pricing. My little boy recently needed surgery to remove growths in his mouth. Healthy Paws approved the claim within two days, and I received a reimbursement check exactly one week after his surgery. In addition, Healthy Paws sent follow-up e-mails checking on his condition. This is an exceptional company and I'm so glad I settled on Healthy Paws. I've recommended them to many others.

Re: Great & Caring Service from Healthy Paws

I did my research and after year decided on Healthy Paws. I have two babies, Bunny & Twinkie, both Shih-tzu's and they are very precious to my husband & I. Bunny got 3 foxtails in her ear and was in terrible pain. Took her to emergency and a follow-up with our own vet the following day and in less than 2 weeks received a reimbursement check from Healthy Paws. They also sent me an email asking if I needed anything else and asked how Bunny was doing. They actually care about their customers pets. I haved already told several people about their service and caring attitude. I hope to not have to file another claim but if I do I know that they will be prompt in their response.

Healthy Paws Pet Insurance - amazing, caring

This was the first time I ever acquired pet insurance and am so glad I did. We have had many pets in the past and didn't have insurance for them and it would have been a great benefit in all of their lives. I didn't have any recommendations from anyone so I did a little research and saw favorable comments for Healthy Paws. They go beyond what a typical insurance co does. They are actually really concerned for our pets and customer services is excellent and claims processing is too. I was shocked just how quick the claims were processed! Our precious dog, Rusha, had been pretty healthy for almost 7 years and this disease seemed to come out of nowhere and if it weren't for Healthy Paws, we might have lost him. He is a big part of our family and Healthy Paws appreciates that and cares. We are very thankful we had Healthy Paws Pet insurance.

Healthy Paws is GREAT!

I have had several different pet insurance companies over the years. Every time I filed a claim - it would be denied for some reason or another. I just filed my first claim with Healthy Paws. It was reviewed QUICKLY, I received a personal phone call explaining everything to me - what was going to be covered, what/reason for something being denied. I CAN CERTAINLY LIVE WITH THAT KIND OF CUSTOMER SERVICE. I am considering adding my 10 year old pet for additional coverage! Thank you

Healthy Paws has a Very Caring Attitude

I sent in a claim to Healthy Paws the day after my dog was bitten by another dog in the dog park and needed surgery for a large neck wound. They responded the next day to tell me my claim was being reviewed and the next email I got was their settlement amount. I had a check before the end of the week. Jen even emailed again to ask how my Sierra was doing.I recommend Healthy Paws to everyone of my friends in the dog park.

Healthy Paws Rocks ! ! !

We are huge fans of Healthy Paws, and have sent a number of dog owner friends their way - and now they love Healthy Paws too :) Healthy Paws has GREAT coverage, reasonable premiums, perfect communications, very responsive,and no hassles claims process. Best.Idea.Ever

Purchasing pet insurance was the best idea I ever had, and I couldn't be happier with my choice of provider. I spent a lot of time reviewing different companies and reading reviews, and it was ultimately reviews like this that made me choose Healthy Paws. I wanted a company that could help me manage my crazy puppy. And I found one! I've filed a few claims since starting my plan less than a year ago, and I've been satisfied with the way each one was handled. First, I want to say that I did appreciate their pre-existing check. All I did was send all of my medical records in that my dog had incurred and they promptly responded telling me what was and was not considered preexisting. Maybe I should preface all of this by saying that my dog manages to get into things and do things more than any other dog. Loves eating things he shouldn't and playing places he shouldn't. He had parvo when I first got him, so obviously if he got it again that wouldn't be covered, and he had it before I purchased pet insurance. He also was prone to eye infections and so that was considered preexisting as well. Other than that he was cleared. My first two claims were simple ear infections, and as promised they reimbursed me for my level of reimbursement except for the exam fee, received a check within a week. The second claim was more of an emergency. There were a few symptoms that bothered me and I ended up having to take him into the urgent care after hours on the weekend. He ended up hav

failure to disclose clearly deductible

Company denied claims because they applied to each of them an individual deductible ...since one was for an intestinal infection and the other for a conjunctivitis...it meant that I was made to pay again and again for each condition and only a chronic one would qualify for reimbursement,,,
