Great experience
Our year old dog broke her front leg. Her repair required surgery to insert a plate and screws and multiple sets of x-rays. A very expensive proposition in Alaska. Claims process was very easy. There was a bit of a delay in the response, but they kept us informed of the progress. Overall we were very pleased with their service.

Quick response and so helpful when I called
My 6 year old Frenchie started having severe pain. I knew nothing about what it could be. We spent 3 trips to ER and one to my actual vets office. As it turned out, it was his neck and needed to see a specialist. I was so distraught, I called Trupanion to talk about my coverages for him. The person on the other end was so helpful and caring. Really put my mind at ease. I have been a Trupanion customer for 8 years now and have relied on them for many claims with my other Frenchie. I couldn’t do it without their coverages.

Disappointed rehab not covered.
Experience was good as always. But I am very disappointed with the policy changes about rehab therapy. I was told emails went out offering current customers the opportunity to add a rider. Unfortunately I missed it. I was changing email services around that time and dealing with major family issues. I understand the opportunity is lost. I certainly would have taken advantage of it.
