Basically because it's useful only incase of emergencies or disease. Chances are slim it will ever be used if you are an attentive owner. Very handy for puppies but im thinking preventative care for older dogs may be more important.

I always have a terrific experience when contacting customer service. Trupanion representatives are always so pleasant and helpful and Shannon was no exception! It is always so easy to resolve any issues and, to date, I have not had a bad experience with Trupanion. I am always recommending Trupanion to my friends, family and anyone I know who has a pet!

Fortunately I have not needed your service yet but the money I have paid over 10 years is probably equal to or more than an illness would have been.

I have invested too much to drop it now, but although it could be very useful or important, I would think very carefully about buying pet insurance again. Other than the fact that the cost has increased greatly, I have no complaints with your company.
