Overall very good service that I have had since my 15 yr old was a puppy
I will never have a pet without pet insurance. I have 15 yr old and an 8 yr dog . My 15 yr old tore her ACL and everything was paid for through insurance. My 8 yr old developed Encephalitis as well as rupture his gallbladder so had to have emergency surgery. Approximately 85% of his MRI's, surgeries and ER cost were paid for by insurance. All of these issues would have been out of my budget but with insurance I am blessed that they are both still with me. I feel the premiums have gone up quite bit suddenly over the past few years but that would be my only issue.

I love the pet insurance we have for our maltipo. I have so much piece of mind that when she isn't feeling good I can take her to see her vet without worrying that I can't afford to do so. Nationwide pays out very quickly and have paid for almost everything we have submitted. I wish my human insurance was this good!

I have really appreciated the communication about claims, the rapid processing and payment, and clear kindness of staff at Trupanion. Both of my current fur babies have had Trupanion since they were little and both have needed something. Trupanion has been there for those big things--knee problems in my Aussie or kidney disease in our little old Sheltie. Thank you
